This Watch’s Story:

The Omega Speedmaster was introduced in 1957 as a tool for racecar drivers. It was later approved by NASA for the Apollo 11 mission in 1969 and is infamous for being the watch that made it to the moon. This particular watch is the reduced model which was introduced in 1988. It’s smaller 39mm case size over the 42mm Speedmaster Professional was favored by many who preferred its smaller size. The Speedmaster Reduced also features a hesalite crystal, keeping true to the original moon watch, as well as an automatic movement as opposed to the 42mm’s manual winding caliber.
